Rhys Shaw

Rhys Shaw has lived in America and Europe and has always been interested in history, cemeteries, and stories of deceit and survival. Women have often been overlooked in history and this is the inspiration behind her books. Whether based on real people, places, or events, or entirely fictitious, her women are strong and resilient. Scotland’s heartbreaking history of prosecuting and sentencing innocent people to death, under the guise of witchcraft, is the inspiration behind her latest novel, Kirkyard Moon. In all of her books there are similarities to what has happened, could happen, or is indeed happening in our world today.
